Anyone have thoughts on doing life time deals via App Sumo? We've had a few users ask for this, but not sure if it makes sense given the pricing would be max $150.

I've worked with AppSumo on a launch, which isn't live yet. Here are the advantages I found so far:

I've seen a few people on IHers that have had success listing there, but the main benefits seemed to be cashflow related. If cashflow isn't an issue I'd consider waiting for now as I don't hear good stories in other ways e.g. the customers not being the right fit, being hard to upsell to etc.
I also heard someone saying it skewed their expectations quite badly i.e. they thought they were really on to something after a bunch of sales on App Sumo and then they failed to make any other pricing or sales approach work 😅 That doesn't sound right to me, but interesting nonetheless!
